Why I'm Running

I'm running for Carrollton City Council because I want to continue making a difference in my city.  I am a dedicated, long-time grassroots community leader and a natural connector of people.  I want to bridge seasoned and next-generation leaders, working to foster collaborative positive change and growth.  As a Carrollton citizen and entrepreneur, I want to further promote our city as a passport to the world, continually attracting new businesses, while highlighting our many multicultural large and small businesses, including some of the best dining options in North Texas. I love Carrollton’s rich heritage. I am excited to be a part of Carrollton’s future.

My goal as a City Council member is to make my term count for the residents and businesses of Carrollton. We enjoy a high quality of life, abundant parks, excellent schools, and safe neighborhoods, and if I have a voice, it will continue to grow and prosper even more so.  When I cast my votes on decisions to be made in our community, I will fight to keep Carrollton a place that continues to draw forward thinking people and businesses. I will be an advocate for the citizens of Carrollton. I will help blaze new trails in this city that we all call home.
